On friendship, freedom, and the quiet joy of showing up. At 50, a bike ride with a childhood friend becomes a meditation on aging, mindfulness, freedom, and the beauty of showing up for life and each other.
Thanks, Robyn for sharing this experience. It brought a wonderful visual and I could feel your joy! A reminder to me that sometimes, the simple things can be so awesome! I need to learn to 'Just Do It!'
I enjoyed your story and our journal prompts today brought back those same childhood memories for me even before I read your story. I look forward to our journal club and meditation Thursdays. Thanks again Robyn.
Thanks, Joyce...were you a big bike rider? My girlfriend and I were chatting about how we still loved bike riding. It's such a rewarding practice to remember what we loved doing as kids and then explore how we can enjoy the same activities in new ways. So glad that you are a part of our weekly practices!

Yes! Make space for fun and joy. What could that look like for today? Do it! Do it! Do it! It’s worth it. :)
