No Storm Is Endless

A Meditation on the Weather Within

There’s a teacher I’ve been learning from, Yung Pueblo, whose words often stay with me. He said something, referring to emotions: ‘A storm may be powerful, but no storm is endless.’

Emotions, like storms, can arrive suddenly and with great intensity. It’s natural to want to resist them or to engage fully.

But there’s a middle ground… a subtle and steady space where we can be with what is happening.

Being with what we feel is always more healing than becoming it.

When we are with a feeling, we can witness the waves of emotion without losing ourselves in them. This space of witnessing is where our strength and steadiness are reclaimed and where our inner fire can burn without consuming us.

There have been a lot of emotions swirling around our family lately, and this teaching has been comforting, and I wanted to share it with you.

Let’s settle into meditation…
