Mindfulness In The Brightest Days

We are a few days away from the summer solstice, and we’re stepping into the brightest stretch of the year.

Here on the farm, the days feel full—long light, warm air, everything growing a little faster.

Maybe where you are, the signs of summer are showing up too: birds starting earlier, grass a little taller, the air holding heat into the evening.

This change in season is a chance to notice what’s shifting—not just out there, but in us, too.

The light invites us to come out of hiding a bit, to open up, even if just in small ways.

Walking barefoot. Swimming in cool lakes or fresh pools. Spending more time outdoors. Watching the fireflies come alive at night or the stars shoot across the sky. Maybe we’ll even catch a glimpse of the northern lights this season.

In this short practice, we’ll use the steady rhythm of breath and the feeling of the body to settle into where we are now, in this moment, as we open up to the next season.

This morning, we are steady. We are grounded. We are quietly unfolding.
